What is the Big London Bake?
The Big London Bake is a fun, interactive baking class in London where you and a partner team up for about two hours of pure baking bliss. Imagine the spirit of The Great British Bake Off, but with cocktails and zero stress.
They provide all of the ingredients, equipment and easy-to-follow directions—including guides on how to make fondant decorations, create little edible elves and design a show-stopping cake from scratch. You don’t need any baking experience, just enthusasm and a willingness to get a little flour on your nose.
At their one location, The Big London Bake East, you’ll find a 12-station baking tent, a cake-inspired bar serving themed cocktails and tasty snacks, plus a heated drinks deck, beer garden and a private hospitality suite that’s perfect for corporate events or special occasions (birthdays, anyone?). It’s one of the most fun things to do in London, especially during the festive season.
Pricing is between £32.40 and £76.90 per person, depending on the ticket type, day and session time.

When you arrive, don’t be surprised! Your Big Bake adventure begins in the most unexpected way! You’ll step into a narrow, almost hidden entrance, lined with shelves full of colorful baking tools, treats and charming little figurines. Right in the middle, you’ll spot a refrigerator—yes a real fridge! You might hesitate for a second, but trust us … open it!
The moment you pull that door, you’ll step through into the magical Big Bake London East tent. It’s a vibrant, festive space buzzing with energy, music and the sweet smell of cake. It’s such a clever and fun start to the experience, setting the tone for the playful baking adventure ahead.
You’re paired up and guided to your baking station. Each team of two has everything they need to bake, decorate and design a themed cake within roughly 90 minutes. Don’t worry, this isn’t about racing against the clock. The Big London Bake is more about creativity and quality than speed.
Two friendly, expert instructors stay with you throughout the experience, offering encouragement, guidance and plenty of laughs. At the end, the instructors judge each cake base don creativity, decoration and presentation, and yes, they’ll cut into it to check the inside, too
Our team’s cake wasn’t the most visually stunning (our fondant Santa has was adorably wobbly), but our instructor had nothing but positive feedback on the decor and the inside—proof that teamwork and enthusiasm go a long way.
